So I was driving home from Indy yesterday evening and saw another weird sight. There was a rusty, old, red pick-up truck pulled over to the side of the highway. I slowed down, in case the driver needed help. The truck was unoccupied. Looking further, I then spotted the driver, wading in knee-deep water, fly-fishing. He was fly-fishing IN A FLOODED CORNFIELD. What was he trying to catch?
Did I miss something? Do fish spontaneously evolve in flooded Indiana cornfields? Do some farmers stock their flooded cornfields with large mouth bass?
Pehaps that particular field was filled with sole?
