The Fire

Nothing worth achieving comes easily.  Or quickly.

Jack and I are in the fire now.  Work that has exploded for both of us - a blessing because it means our careers are going well and people need us to accomplish things.  My work travel keeps me on the road at least 2 weeks a month.  Jack is an incredibly good sport about my travels.

School is in full force for us both, two classes each this semester.  13 total credit hours so, I guess, between the two of us, we are in full-time school.  We are looking down the barrel of 80 hour weeks with school and work.

And crazy us, we are training for two races this fall, a 10 mile trail walk and a half marathon in Nov.  This is good, though, because the time together focuses our minds and gives us a cool connection.  Exercise clears your head so that you can study and write effectively.

We are both trying to find our routines, how to maximize the weekends and work efficiently during the work week.

Nothing worth achieving comes easily.  We can do this.  We WILL do this.

See you after December 12!
