Is it bad when you glance at your desk calendar and see that it's Monday, July 13? The Edge bought me this wonderful, tropically-nuanced desk calendar and I've WASTED nine days' of pretty photos! In other news, I received a notice that I was nominated as an Early Careerist for the Indiana Healthcare Executive Network! This is huge, as I get to represent northern Indiana at the state level for the American College of Healthcare Executives! At this point in my career, I'm doing anything and everything that crosses my path. Unless they send me an invitation to join the Voodoo Appreciation League or Ladies' Terrorism Society!
No time to party, though. I'm drowning in file folders and committee notes that I have to synthesize in my brain. And weather permitting, I have a softball game tonight. When I last checked the doppler, there was a big mass of green, yellow, and orange heading this way...so we'll see! Then again, I could use a "night off" to catch up on my reading, house cleaning, laundry, exercise, cooking....
