Love this quote and it lives in my email as a permanent draft item. I've been working my tail off this week and aside from one emergency call to my friendly neighborhood-administrator-turned-mentor, everything's been great. And it's time to get that next round of goals into writing!
I finished my reorganization of three departments today and feel as though I emerged from the tunnel of disdain seemingly unscathed. The people I offered the new positions to took them. And the managers I've been coaching are up to the task of helping their employees succeed in their new roles. This is a good thing and no one questioned anything--not even EVOO or Elvis. I told them I would keep going until they told me to stop. EVOO just laughed at me. I have a feeling the end is NOT in sight. But that's okay; every prize is worth the fight.
Just keep swimming.
