Last week when I lead a meeting on our Stroke designation efforts, I stuck to our agenda. I started on time and ended on time. I felt accomplished and that the meeting went well. Someone kindly reminded me afterward, that I forgot to open the meeting with a prayer. This doctor warned me that Sister Lourdes might get mad if she found out that I skipped prayer (it wasn't intentional, I promise).
So I put it in the meeting minutes as a moment of silence. This doctor proofread the minutes and I came back to my office with a thick pink highlighter mark across the "moment of silence" section, next to which she'd written "You can't lie about prayer!"
Duly noted!
Hilarious! And, at the same time, not hilarious! I'm praying for YOU!
