Vacation Plans

This is my 299th post. Wow. Have I really had that much to say?

We bit the bullet and booked vacation for May. Both Jack and I really need that carrot to entice us forward through the next two months. It's nothing fancy; we're just going to Florida (yes, again) for 8 days and staying at the Parc Soleil. We're hoping to reconnect with each other, rest our weary bodies and minds in the Florida sunshine, visit some friends, drink a few margaritas, and scream like kids in the theme parks. We were going to take a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean, but apart from the cost, it's irresponsible to leave the country when I'll be in a new job and should be reachable.

Jack wants to visit the Harry Potter theme park at Universal. I'd like to visit Universal Studios because we've never done that. We've done most of Disney and visited Universal CityWalk. It's time to give Universal some attention during this trip.
