It's a nutty week for Jack and me (even nuttier than usual, when you factor in several evening meetings, Jack's final exam, a Holy Day, and a household in shambles), so I leave you with this tidbit to ponder:

I have no idea what the show Blue Bloods is about or who Tom Selleck plays, but I love this quote. You cannot expect great opportunities or chances to come your way without putting yourself out there. It also follows that, without risk, there are no great rewards.
